What is a Truss Top Section and What is its Purpose?
The Truss Top Section are the unsung heroes of the Truss Tower. Quietly perched at the top of the towers they are a key component to raising and lower a truss goal post or roof grid system.
The Truss Top Section have sheaves that rotate and act as guides for the chain from a chain hoist. This simple mechanism makes raising a truss system to trim height much easier and can save a lot of time during installation and load out which equates to saving money. The Truss Top Section, along with the chain hoist raise and lower the horizontal main truss sections to a desired elevation. With a simple push of a button the truss or roof grid can be raised to trim height or lowered to ground level, where the fixtures, devices and cabling can quickly and easily be installed or adjusted.
